Title Description

Maya - Through the eyes of the Taoist master

Kaali - The mother, the virgin, the wild Goddess

Hriday - Touching the soul with song of the drums

Caravan - Gypsies floating on the cloud

These four albums in our world Music Series have some thing unique to offer. Conceived and co-coordinated by Vidal Paz, all the albums have none other than flute maestro Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia in his innovative, experimental best as he connects to the sound textures and creative idioms from different parts of the world, rendered by artists from Africa, Spain, Indonesia and  Japan. The instruments are unusual too- like Djembe, Sudanese Drums, Kantele, Harp from Finland, Karinding, Dervuca, etc. Of course there is also Tabla and Vocals from India, by Devki Pandit. Each of these unconventional albums takes a particular country as its inspiration and takes you on a musical journey, beyond the mundane boundaries of language, culture, race, etc.
