Soothing Synergy
(live in concert)

Soothing Synergy is a live concert recording and hence the spontaneity of the rendition has a unique charm of its own. For the first time ever, Banyan Tree, our sister company, presented Western Classical, Hindustani Classical and innovative collaborative world music on the same platform in the same evening.

Soothing Synergy featuring for the first time, the most prominent name of Indian Classical Music today, Padmavibhushan Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia and internationally acclaimed harp player Gwyneth Wentink and Adhrishta featuring Ganesh Rajagopalan, a renowned violin player and a child prodigy guitarist Debashish Bhattacharya.

In accordance to the name of this album, it includes an amazing combination of the Flute and harp, an ecstatic collaboration of the two, which dissipates magic to its listeners. The beautiful sound of the two instruments only becomes more soothing as they create together, at times overlapping and in tandem at others.
The album also contains a specially created composition where Louiz Banks, one of the most popular jazz musicians joins in on the electronic synthesizer, Rakesh Chaurasia on flute and Gino Banks on the western drums. The music that flows out is simply brilliant not just for its energy but beautiful and deep synergy.

Listening to the album is like being part of a great concert complete with all the creative energy unfolded with a magical synergy.
